Hosted annually in April by the Greater Burlington Partnership, the purple shirt brigade takes to the streets to pick up trash that has accumulated over the winter. We have a little fun along the way; a fantastic family friendly event!!
This annual event gives our team of volunteers the opportunity to give back to a local family in the form of manual labor by scraping, priming and painting the exterior of their home. We're making connections and friends along the way.
Volunteer workers fill grocery bags with snacks and light meals then given to less fortunate children. These bags supply food for over on the weekend when meals are more difficult to come by.
We love the opportunity to cook, serve and dine alongside those who frequent the Salvation Army Center. This Serving Sunday is a perfect way to meet the physical and social needs of others.
Each July volunteers pass out FREE cold water & hand fans to Downtown Partners Vintage Market attendees. Our conveniently located downtown building is open as a cooling center with public restroom access.
