Partnering with other Iowa-Nebraska Association of Congregational Christian Churches, we have provided funds, supplies and volunteers to assist the needs of those in Morgan & Scott counties in Tennessee. Short term mission trips to the region and ongoing communication keeps us aware of the needs of those in this impoverished area.
Quality healthcare and the funding to become a healthcare professional is an ongoing issue for many in the world. Through the Nursing Student Program we assist with the schooling costs to train up a young professional who will return to their home village and provide the determined medical care for those in need.
We are called to preach the good news of Jesus Christ to all the nations. Many areas of the world are closed to Christians desiring to do the work of Christ or preach the Bible. Our partnership with those in these regions give us hope for the next generation. We look forward to one day where all nations will be free to worship Jesus Christ openly.
Training up the next generation of congregational christian clergy has long been a passion of our congregation. Our partnership with the CFTS (Congregational Foundation for Theological Studies) program, provides financial assistance through scholarships and pulpit filling opportunities in local churches to those enrolled in the CFTS program.
