"Casting Cares" by the Rev. Jim Francisco

  We’ll be looking at the problem of despair and finding comfort in God’s love for us. Our Scripture is Psalm 55. The big idea is that by keeping our minds on Jesus and His promises we find the peace we’re looking for. The picture is by Michael Berger.

     The questions we’ll be talking about this week have to do with women’s roles in the church. The big idea is that if God has gifted someone (including a woman) with the gift of teaching and/or leadership then that person should use the gift for the good of the church. The texts are Romans 12 and
